DIY Spring Wreath

We welcome and officially today the first day of the spring equinox.

Be inspired by this beautiful and easy-breezy spring wreath made by Layla and Kevin from The Lettered Cottage, to decorate the entrance of your home.

It is super simple to make. Start with an inexpensive foam wreath form, and some chunky, off-white-colored yarn…

This wreath form measures 14 inches in diameter, so it’ll take a little while to completely cover it.

Use hot glue to secure the beginning and end of the yarn, and after that, add the embellishments…

(The flowers are actually hair barrettes!)
First up- a little twig found in the backyard. Then wrap it with some fuzzy, moss green-colored yarn, and then hot glued it onto the wreath…

After that, glue on some buttons, and add a spiral of twine to the center of the largest flower. Lastly, attach some green and white striped ribbon to the top of the wreath so you can hang it on your screen door.

And there Layla & Kevin have it! A fast & fun, Spring wreath how-to!
