Changing a Wall with an Old Fashion Fireplace

I started the works with my team to change the look of a wall with an old fashion fireplace.
At my 3D sketch you can see my idea and the upcoming fresh and modern result.
I decided that plaster was the best material to use to help me change completely the look and the shapes of the wall and the fireplace.

Plus the choice to use a modern material for the fireplace sides.

The Idea

The Construction

Just after a couple of days and the works are going really good!!
Plaster construction is coming to the end and all the necessary details are discussed with my electrician.

One day later my project is reaching its final straight.

Drywall construction is completed and all the necessary electrical and electronic installations are located.

It’s time for me to talk about the construction details of marbles placement into the fireplace.

After ~ The Result

Mission accomplished.
It looks very nice 😉
The transformation of a wall with an old-fashioned fireplace, to a modern and functional reference point of the house was successful.
The choice of the antique black granite for the fireplace was the best and the placing of transparent glass doors will keep the dust away from the shelves for many days.

Wooden type floor tiles look great and i believe that it was an excellent choise for the animal lovers owners.

Time to move on.

My spring time projects are waiting for me, time to do some landscaping with good, good Feng Shui for my beloved customers because even if it is spring, summertime is already here…in Greece
