How to Grow Cherry Tomatoes

I am a big fan of growing plants and even at my balcony I am growing a vegetable garden in pots.
Growing a vegetable garden is a great hobby with lots of benefits for our health and I suggest you to give it a try!
So let’s start today together, to grow a vegetable garden by planting cherry tomatoes.

Plant Cherry Tomatoes

Cherry tomatoes are the easiest vegetables to start a vegetable garden.

After strawberries, they are the most amusing plants for kids and adults.

How to Grow Cherry Tomatoes

The best season to plant your cherry tomatoes is from March to May.

I suggest you to prefer ready-made seedlings rather growing them from seeds.

Choose a good organic variety, about 15 cm high, with healthy green leaves.
There are several varieties to choose from.

One is with the shape of an oak which is sweeter and the other is with round shape called cherry of Santorini which is a bit more sour.

But there are also yellow or black tomatoes.
Next to each tomato seedling place a 60 cm pole and as the plant is growing tie it on the pole.
Pour plenty of compost and water the soil by keeping the leaves dry.

Growing period is between 50 to 75 days. Tomatoes grow very well also in pots.

Results are quick and you will feel great when you add into your spring and summer salad tomatoes from your own vegetable garden!!
